PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grow plug power supply control device and a grow plug power supply control method for rapidly raising temperature of a resistance heating heater in an intermediate temperature raising grow step. SOLUTION: A grow plug power supply control device 101 comprises a post-starting grow means for stably heating a ceramic heater 2 after starting of an engine and an intermediate temperature raising grow means for controlling power supply to a grow plug 1 so that temperature of the ceramic heater 2 is raised to and kept at a target temperature after power supply control by the post-starting grow means is stopped. The intermediate temperature raising grow means has a first intermediate temperature raising means for calculating a duty ratio Dt1 of a voltage waveform to be applied to the grow plug 1 based on a target resistance value Ro according to the target temperature for the ceramic heater 2 and for PWM-controlling the power supply to the grow plug 1 with the duty ratio Dt1.
