SOLUTION: The door handle device comprises a handle body 1 provided to the outside of a door outer plate 9, formed of a plastic material and at the same time, having a hook section 11 provided at a right angle to a handle 12 and the longitudinal axis line of the handle 12, a base 2 holding the handle body 1, formed of the plastic material and, at the same time, mounted to the inside of the door outer plate 9, a bell crank 3 having a lever section engaged with the hook section 11 and connecting the other end section of the lever section to a door lock device and a prevention mechanism 5 provided to a bearing section 22 supporting a rotary shaft 31 as a fulcrum of oscillating movement of the bell crank 3 and rotating movement of the rotary shaft 33 and operating so as to control the rotating movement of the rotary shaft 31 of the bell crank 3 in the case predetermined acceleration is inputted.
