Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a system compact and to improve the efficiency and accuracy of processing by controlling two sorts of DSPs, i.e. a DSP for image processing and a DSP for security processing, by one system. SOLUTION: In the illegal duplication prevention system, one DSP control device 201 controls both of the image processing DSP 202 and the security processing DSP 203. The DSP control device 201 previously understands the sort of the DSP to be controlled and sends information for image processing to the image processing DSP 202 to execute prescribed image processing. On the other hands, the DSP control device 201 sends information for executing security processing to the security processing DSP 203 and acquires the information of duplication availability or unavailability. When the control of the image processing DSP 202 is switched on the basis of the information from the security processing DSP 203, the image processing DSP 202 processes an original so that information can not be read out from a duplicated original.
