Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biologically decomposable and absorbable polymer having fluidity and viscous, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This biologically decomposable and absorbable polymer comprises a copolymer of a lactide and -caprolactone, wherein the polymer has a weight-average molecular weight of 2,000 to 10,000. The method for producing the biologically decomposable and absorbable polymer comprises preparing a mixture of the lactide and the -caprolactone, adding a 2-18C alcohol compound to the mixture in an amount of 5-40(w/w)% based on the mixture, and polymerizing the lactide with the -caprolactone.
