Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static balance measuring instrument for a rotating body to accurately and rapidly measure the eccentricity amount of a plurality of kinds of rotating bodies. SOLUTION: This static balance measuring instrument for a rotating body to measure the eccentricity amount of the rotating body with respect to its axis, is equipped with a pendulum body 16 supported in a floating state by an elastic member 22 to hold a wheel while detecting displacement of the axis of the wheel, load cells 3a, 3b, and 3c for detecting moment accompanying the displacement of the pendulum body 16, a load cell 2 for detecting the weight of the wheel, and a control part 6 for therein storing and arithmetically processing measurement results made by the load cells 2, 3a, 3b, and 3c. A measurement result on a master wheel is referred to to correct a measurement value on a wheel 14 being a measuring object to calculate the eccentricity amount of the wheel 14 being the measuring object.
