Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control method for an organic sludge drying installation for preventing the occurrence of a fire when drying organic waste materials at a low temperature and for quickly extinguishing the fire if occurring. SOLUTION: The drying installation has a dryer 1, an exhaust gas treatment device 5, a pipe duct provided between the dryer 1 and the exhaust gas treatment device 5, a transfer device 3 for dried products discharged from the dryer 1, and one or more heating means provided in the pipe duct between the transfer device 3 and the exhaust gas treatment device 5. These devices or the pipe duct is heated to prevent dew condensation, one or both of the temperatures of the dried products or exhaust gas are monitored, and the heating means are controlled so that those values are not 130°C or higher. Thus, no fire occurs when dust is accumulated in an exhaust gas passage or the dried products reside therein. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
