Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fall of a worker, a tool, or the like from the side of a temporary scaffolding and to eliminate a fall from a clearance of a scaffolding board. SOLUTION: This protective board 100 for the scaffolding has a laterally long rising wall plate 1 of rectangular shape; a laterally long footboard 8 turnably attached to the lower part of the laterally long rising wall plate 1 by a hinge 9; and U-shaped holding means 3 mounted to both longitudinal ends of the laterally long rising wall plate 1 through end fittings 2. The mutual clearance dimension of the U-shaped holding means 3 for holding column members 205 of standards 202 constructing the scaffolding 200, to attach the protective plate 100 for the scaffolding, to the scaffolding 200 is adjustable by changing the mounting positions of the end fittings 2 mounted to both ends of the laterally long rising wall plate 1 by bolts 6 and nuts 7.
