Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a still image reproducing apparatus which carries out reproduction of static images and music reproduction in matching atmosphere of the user at reproduction, such that the user selects a piece of information from a map. SOLUTION: The static image reproducing apparatus 100 includes an image feature extractor 102 which carries out analysis of the image data, and extracts the feature amount; a music feature extractor 106 which extracts the feature amount of the music from the music data; a mapping processor 109, which carries out mapping of respective image data and respective music data on a sensibility map, using two axes of mental information and physical information, using respective feature amounts. The user can reproduce a slide show which automatically suits to atmosphere in a slide show creation part 110 by selecting desired music or image event of the slide show on the sensibility map via a menu input part 111.
