SOLUTION: The optical module is provided with: a main housing 110; a filter supporting member 120 supported by a first component mounting part 111 of the main housing 110; a light emitting component 130 supported by a second component mounting part 112 of the main housing 110; a light receiving component 140 supported by a third component mounting part 113 of the main housing 110; and a first optical filter 161 supported by the filter supporting member 120. The filter supporting member 120 has a first face having an angle of approximately 45° with respect to a line connecting the first component mounting part 111 and the second component mounting part 112, and a first optical filter 161 is mounted on the first face.
