Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor blade for a rotor assembly provided with a means for effectively damping vibration of a blade. SOLUTION: The rotor blade 14 for the rotor assembly 10 including a root part 18, a blade shape part 20 and a damper 24 is provided. The blade shape part 20 includes a base end 28, a tip 30, a pressure side wall 36, a suction side wall 38 and a space 40 arranged between these side walls. The space 40 substantially expands between the base end 28 and the tip 30 and includes a first space part 44, a second space part 46, and a channel 42 arranged between the first space part 44 and a second space part 46. A plurality of first pedestals 48 are arranged in the first space part 44 adjoining the channel 42, and a plurality of second pedestals 48 are arranged in the second space part 46 adjoining the channel 42.
