Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of forming an electrode pattern on an electrode substrate for a plasma display panel (PDP) to be highly precise and flat, and a printing blanket suitable for forming such an electrode pattern by printing. SOLUTION: A pattern made of a conductive paste is formed on a substrate by an intaglio offset printing method using a printing blanket for fabrication of PDP electrode substrates. The printing blanket has a surface made of a silicone elastomer, and the surface has an arithmetical mean roughness Ra of ≥0.1 nm and <20 nm, and a ten-point mean roughness Rz of ≥0.1 nm and <100 nm.
