Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve compactness, reduce component parts, and reduce assembling manhours in a throttle device on which a sensor unit including a pressure sensor is installed on a throttle body. SOLUTION: This throttle device comprises a throttle body 10 forming a plurality of intake passages 10a and 10b, a plurality of valve elements 30 to open/close the intake passages, a sampling passage 14 formed in the throttle body to be communicated with one intake passage 10a, a sensor unit 20 including a pressure introducing passage 26 communicated with the sampling passage 14 and a pressure sensor 22 to detect intake pressure through the pressure introducing passage, that is connected to the throttle body 10, and a connecting tube 50 to take in the intake pressure from the other intake passage 10b to be introduced to a branch passage 27a in the middle of the pressure introducing passage 26. Assembling work can thus be simplified, the number of pressure sensors and wiring can be reduced, and compactness and low cost of the device can be achieved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
