Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic powder coating composition excellent in flip-flop properties. SOLUTION: The thermosetting metallic powder coating composition comprises a thermosetting powder coating containing titanium dioxide powder having an average particle size of 0.01-0.1 μm and, incorporated therewith, a scaly aluminum pigment with its surface coated with a fluororesin, where the scaly aluminum pigment is bonded to the thermosetting powder coating. The forming method of the metallic powder coating film comprises coating the surface of the matter to be coated with the powder coating primer and subsequently with the thermosetting metallic powder coating composition and effecting baking.
