Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof structure of a vehicular engine capable of reducing high frequency noise and reducing medium to low frequency noise with an engine as a sound source thereof. SOLUTION: A noise-insulating cover 30 has a plate-like sound insulating member and a porous type sound absorption member arranged on an inner side of the plate-like sound insulating member, and a substantially cylindrical engine room 11 with an engine 4 and a transmission 5 arranged therein is demarcated inside thereof. A resonance type sound absorbing member 18 is arranged inside the sound insulation cover 30 in a vicinity of a loop of the resonance mode 28 generated in the engine room 11 and the noise of the resonance frequency is reduced.
