Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for manufacturing automotive exterior parts which gives products excellent in heat resistance and impact resistance, having a small linear expansion coefficient and exhibiting excellent electroconductivity, good coating adhesion, and surface appearances of coating comparable to steel plates. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises a modified product äa component (A)} obtained by reacting, in a molten state, (A1) a polyphenylene ether, (A2) a hydrogenated product of a block copolymer comprising a vinyl aromatic compound polymer block A and a conjugated diene compound polymer block B, (A3) an unsaturated acid anhydride and/or an unsaturated acid and (A4) a radical initiator, and, incorporated therewith, a polyamide äa component (B)}, magnesium silicate (talc) äa component (C)}, electroconductive carbon black äa component (D)} and an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer äa component (E)}, each in a specific ratio, where the component (A) forms the discontinuous phase to exist in the continuous phase of the component (B), and the component (C) exists mainly in the continuous phase of the component (B).
