Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying method and conveying device for fullerene-containing soot capable of safely conveying fullerene-containing soot by preventing the degradation in a fullerene content. SOLUTION: The pneumatic conveyance using the conveying device 10 for the fullerene-containing soot having a storage tank 16 for storing the fullerene-containing soot recovered from the fullerene-containing gas flowing out from a fullerene manufacturing apparatus 11, a discharge path 17 having a slope disposed at the bottom of the storage tank 16 to let out the fullerene-containing soot, and a pneumatic transporting means 18 connected to the discharge path 17 to pneumatically transport the flowing-out fullerene-containing soot by using a conveying gas is performed by incorporating the residue of the conveying gas into the flowing-out fullerene-containing soot while part of the conveying gas is supplied into the storage tank 16.
