Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize stand-by in a terminal without using an identifier converting means. SOLUTION: A terminal is constituted of: a first interface to be connected to a first network; a second interface to be connected to a second network; a control part which turns on/off the power source of the first interface; a storage means which stores the identifier of its own terminal and the identifier of the terminal of the other party; and an identifier inputting means which inputs the identifier of the terminal of the other party. The terminal turns on the power source of the second interface to set a reception stand-by state, and turns on the power source of the first interface by the control part of its own terminal only when transmitting data from its own terminal to the terminal of the other party, and notifies the terminal of the other party of the identifier in the first network of its own terminal through the second network. Then, the terminal of the other party deciphers the identifier notified from its own terminal, and performs access through the first network to the identifier of its own terminal for executing communication by using the first network.
