Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cash processing apparatus with which a work for setting change reserve fund can be reduced and for which a private cassette or the like is not necessary to be equipped. SOLUTION: The cash processing apparatus includes a control part (2) to which a console (8) is connected, and a bank bill processing part (3) and a coin processing part (4), which are controlled through the control part by a command from the console and perform depositing and dispensing processing. The bank bill processing part and the coin processing part have remnant collecting means leaving change reserve fund required at the time of next business start when business is terminated and collecting only surplus balance.
