Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainer allowing a hold-down lid to be sufficiently pushed in with a comparatively weak force. SOLUTION: The drainer 100 has a body 103 which is composed of a bottom surface 101 and a wall surface 102, furnished with a through hole 110 for draining the water, and accommodates unprocessed garbage etc. inside it whereon the hold-down lid 104 is put, and one end 106b of a handle member 106 is inserted into an appropriate through hole 112 for handle member and fixed to a supporting member 105, while the other end 106a of the handle member 106 is pressed downward, and thereby the lid 104 is pressed down by a downward extending pressing member 107 of the handle member 106 so that it is possible to drain water from the unprocessed garbage etc. contained in the body 103 of the apparatus.
