Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic tape cartridge which has a simple reel lock mechanism and is suitable for a magnetic recording/reproducing device having a built-in magnetic tape. SOLUTION: The magnetic tape cartridge is built-in a magnetic recording/reproducing device for travelling the tape T on a magnetic head for magnetic recording and reproducing. It has a main case, a reel to wind the magnetic tape and rotatably stored in the main case, and a fixture to engage the main case and the reel. The fixture is inserted into the main case and is removable. The fixture is molded in one body with the engaging pin or the engaging section and projects from the reel.
