Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain a rotor 11 rotating at very high speed without using static pressure type fluid bearing. SOLUTION: A plurality of radial projections 31 are provided on a side surface of a rotor base plate 12. Consequently, positive dynamic pressure is generated between side part casing base plate 20 and the rotor 11 when the rotor rotates. If the rotor 11 rotate eccentrically by a certain cause, the dynamic pressure acts as stability returning the rotor 11 to a state without eccentricity. Consequently, rotation stability is improved and reliability is increased even if the rotor 11 is a micro rotary fluid machine rotating at very high speed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
