Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe-jacking apparatus which can push a buried pipe in a stable state in a pipe-jacking direction, even if curved pipe-jacking is performed by a high thrust. SOLUTION: This pipe-jacking apparatus, which is equipped with a pushing board 2 abutting on a rear surface 1a of the buried pipe 1 and a jack 3 for pushing the pushing board 2, pushes the buried pipe 1 by the pushing board 2 so as to lay the buried pipe 1. The pipe-jacking apparatus is provided with a joint mechanism S which is composed of a trunnion shaft 34 and a retaining member 21 for retaining the trunnion shaft 34. When the pushing board 2 is pushed so that the buried pipe 1 can be jacked, the pipe-jacking apparatus follows a change in relative positions of the pushing board 2 and the jack 3.
