Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicinal composition for prophylaxis and therapy of arthropathy having higher amelioration effects by utilizing synergism of glucosamines such as glucosamine or its salt with glycosaminoglycans such as chondroitin, chondroitin sulfate or its salt in addition to effects of a Chinese medicine formulation. SOLUTION: The medicinal composition for the prophylaxis and therapy of the arthropathy is composed of the Chinese medicine formulation and the glucosamines contained in an amount of 0.01-80.0 wt.% based on the Chinese medicine formulation. Furthermore, the medicinal composition for the prophylaxis and therapy of the arthropathy comprises the glycosaminoglycans in an amount of 0.001-80.0 wt.% based on the Chinese medicine formulation.
