Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry preform for a window frame for an aircraft which keeps a reinforcing fiber oriented in the circumference and has a large circumferential strength. SOLUTION: This dry preform 1 for the window frame having a perforated approximately oval shape has an approximately oval cylindrical section 2 for which at least the reinforcing fiber is spirally oriented in the circumference in every member, a flange 3 which extends outward from the lower end of the approximately oval cylindrical section 2, and a web 4 which extends diagonally inward from the lower end of the approximately oval cylindrical section 2. The dry preform 1 is manufactured by integrating a reinforcing fiber group aggregate 9 constituted by assembling first to fourth members 5, 6, 7 and 8 of a thermoplastic fiber or the like. In this case, the plate-like first member 5 has a perforated approximately oval shape, the second member 6 has a perforated approximately oval shape of which the cross sectional shape is an L shape, the third member 8 has a perforated approximately oval shape of which the cross sectional shape is an approximate L shape. Also, the fourth member 8 has a perforated approximately oval shape, is filled in a gap formed of the first member 5, the second member 6 and the third member 7, and of which the cross-sectional shape is a triangular shape.
