Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification system requiring no centrifugal separation of plasmid DNA and a method for using the same. SOLUTION: The system comprises a crude filter having about 50-200μm pore size, a prefilter having about 1-2μm pore size and a final filter having about 0.22μm pore size. The prefilter and the final filter are preferably combined into one filter house to reduce a system holdup volume and enhance plasmid DNA recovery. By the method, the system is operated not only continuously but also batchwisely. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
