Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a device in which an electro-optical conversion member such as a liquid crystal is used, in which processes after formation of microlenses are a few and in which danger of injuring the microlenses is low and which prevents deterioration of image quality by sticking of impurities. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the device has a stage for constituting a cell by sticking a first substrate 10 having a first electrode 11 and a second substrate 20 which has second electrodes 24 and light reflection members 21 having light transmission parts 22 with sealant 16 while providing a gap 15 where the electro-optical conversion member is filled up, a stage for forming a photo setting resin layer 30a on a surface of a side opposite to the gap 15 of the second substrate 20 of the cell, a stage for forming the microlenses each of which condenses light which goes to a gap 15 from the second substrate 20 by irradiating the photosensitive resin layer 30a with light while transmitting the light through the gap 15, the light transmission parts 22 and the second substrate 20 from the side of the first substrate 10.
