Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matrix converter system stably driving a load even if a distortion occurs with a power source voltage. SOLUTION: A function for detecting a power source voltage value is provided in addition to a function for calculating an estimated value of the power source voltage in a control circuit, to compare the detected value with the estimated value. If there exists a difference between the detected value and the estimated value, a correction amount for an output voltage is calculated according to the amount of difference, which is added to an output voltage command value calculated only from the estimated value.
