Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation improvement method, superior in economic efficiency, and improving its treatment quality by eliminating the occurrence of nonuniformity of mixing. SOLUTION: A graph is prepared in advance for indicating a correlation between the improving treating depth and a table flow value for indicating a degree of fluidity of treated soil just after agitating mixing treatment, and the table flow value corresponding to the improving treating depth is determined from this correlation graph. A graph is prepared in advance for indicating a correlation between the table flow value and a consistency index of the treated soil just after agitating mixing treatment. The consistency index of the treated soil corresponding to the previously determined table flow value, is determined from this correlation graph. An adding form (addition of a powdery solidifying material or addition of a milky solidifying material) of a solidifying material is determined on the basis of the determined consistency index.
