Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of high price and difficulty in long-time recording in a medium having a large capacity as a semiconductor memory which is used as a removable storage medium in an information recording system such as a camera recorder. SOLUTION: A second memory 6 is provided, when a first memory 4 which is removable is completely filled, recording is temporarily performed to the second memory 6 and alarm is indicated for urging exchange of the first memory to a new one. After a new memory is loaded, the temporarily recorded data are transferred to the first memory, thereby long-time recording is realized with continuity being maintained in multiple recording media.
