PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio transmission system for elevator monitoring images capable of making the dynamic range of a receiving part smaller than the conventional one. SOLUTION: An image generating means 10 images a state in an elevator cage 1 and generates signals of a monitoring image, a transmitting means 11 outputs the signal of the monitoring image generated by the image generating means 10 in a radio wave format, a plurality of receiving means 20 are separately provided in a shaft in which the elevator cage 1 moves and receive the signals of the monitoring image in the radio wave format outputted from the transmitting means 11, a specifying means 21 specifies a signal of the monitoring image in the radio wave format with the largest intensity among signals of the monitoring image in the radio wave format received by the plurality of receiving means 20, and a converting means 21 converts the signal of the monitoring image in the radio wave format specified by the specifying means 21 into a signal in a format displayable on a surveillance monitor 22.
