Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a read-out operation of a sense amplifier without increasing a chip area largely. SOLUTION: A switch means for controlling the connection of a pair of bit lines and an input/output control circuit is provided at also an input/output control circuit CKT33 connected to only one group of pair of bit lines provided between a Y decoder YD and a memory array MA3. The input/output control circuit is provided with a pre-charge circuit. A layout of a sense amplifier can be performed with pitch of two times of data lines by the above constitution, also, operation can be performed stably and at high speed even by low voltage.
