Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a read-out operation of a sense amplifier without increasing a chip area largely. SOLUTION: A switch means for controlling the connection of a pair of bit lines and an input/output control circuit is provided at also an input/output control circuit CKT33 connected to only one group of pair of bit lines provided between a Y decoder YD and a memory array MA3. When data is read out from the memory array, voltage generated by a voltage conversion circuit is supplied through a word driver. The voltage conversion circuit is provided with a MISFET having a gate connected to a drain of a charge pump circuit and a cross couple is formed in the charge pump circuit.
