Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of increasing thickness and preventing separation, which facilitates increase in thickness of an existing floor slab and prevention of separation of the same, and contributes to a shortened construction period and drastically increased cost efficiency. SOLUTION: The method of increasing thickness and preventing separation is provided for reinforcing an existing concrete structure, and comprised of a spraying step in which two types of mortar 2, 3 are sprayed onto a tension side of the existing concrete structure, and an embedding step in which a fiber sheet 4 is embedded in the mortar before hardening of the same while a surface of the mortar is leveled with a trowel.
