Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent particulate water-absorbing resin composition which secures initial short time absorptivity to some extent, continually increases absorptive magnification over long period of time, and moreover secures liquid permeability and diffusibility as well. SOLUTION: This particulate water-absorbing resin composition comprises a carboxy group-containing water-absorbing resin of ≥80 mass% in the composition, where the absorptive magnification under pressure (0.29 psi (2.00 kPa) for 1 hour) for a specified particle size is ≥20 g/g and the absorption index increment for a specified particle size after 20 hours is ≥3 g/g.
