Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-receiving element which is capable of forming a small optically coupled semiconductor device. SOLUTION: The light-receiving element which converts optical signals into electrical signals is equipped with a first region 5d where a light receiving part 5a receiving optical signals is provided, a second region 5c mounted with an output element 10, a first and a second drain terminal lead which are provided outside the light-receiving part which spreads over the first and the second region 5d and 5c to serve as drain terminals, a first and a second connecting electrode 8 and 9 connected to the first and second drain electrodes 13 and 14 of the output element 10, and an anode electrode 6 and a cathode electrode 7 connected to the common gate electrode 12, and a common source electrode 11 of the output element 10.
