Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for data transfer device, a data transfer circuit, and a disk array device for calculating the assurance code for blocks of data stored in a storage device in block units. SOLUTION: A data control part reads a series of data from the storage device in block units and stores them in a data storage part. The data control part updates, when a block that is a writing destination of writing data is equal to a block stored in the data storage part, the data stored in the data storage part with the writing data. When both differ, the data control part generates an assurance code based on the series of data stored in the data storage part, and transfers the series of data with the assurance code to the storage device. The data control part reads a series of data of a block that is a writing destination of writing data and stores them in the data storage part, and updates them with the writing data.
