Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus where the rotational variation of a photoreceptor drum can be appropriately corrected. SOLUTION: A control value supplied from a control part 3 to a motor 5 is analyzed by an uneven-rotation calculating part 2 every prescribed time (for example, at intervals of several hours), the increase/decrease of the uneven rotation is detected by the part 2, and whether irregularities in an image due to the uneven rotation should be corrected is decided by the part 2 at the time of an image forming processing, and information whether or not the image correction is necessary is given to an image correcting part 7, and when instructions to correct the image are given to the image correcting part 7, an image processing such as density correction is preformed while referring to the density of the adjacent line. The image-processed image data is written by an image writing part 8 on a photoreceptor drum 1 with prescribed density (for example, about 16 lines per mm in 400dpi). COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
