Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis technology for determining qualitatively or quantitatively with high sensitivity that labeled particles are aggregated to a reaction portion on a reaction medium by a reaction when a detection material exists in a sample, or reversely that the labeled particles are not aggregated to the reaction portion on the reaction medium when the detection material does not exist in the sample, in order to determine whether the detection material exists in the sample or not, especially, a detection carrier suitable for analyzing an antigen or an antibody qualitatively or quantitatively with high sensitivity by utilizing an antigen-antibody reaction, and an analysis method using the detection carrier. SOLUTION: This detection carrier comprises a particle group having two or more peaks in a particle distribution, and a reagent bondable with the detection material in the sample is fixed in the particles. The detection carrier comprises a mixture of two or more particle groups having different average particle sizes, and the reagent bondable with the detection material in the sample is fixed in the particles.
