Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pipe element joint structure in a pipe-in-pipe process, having bonding strength sufficient to cope with the bending or deformation of already-installed pipes and withstand forward traction. SOLUTION: A new pipe element joint structure comprises a cylindrical bonding member which has the same outer diameter as that of a new pipe element and in which spigots formed on both the ends of a pair of the new pipe elements are inserted and attached in the state where they abut each other, and is configured so that the new pipe elements are provided on base ends of the spigots with circumferential grooves, that the bonding member is provided on both the ends with locking parts protruding inwardly, and that these locking parts are movable in the pipe axial direction in the care where they are locked within the circumferential grooves.
