Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulating water sterilization system which, when oxo acid of bromine and the like are generated at the site, can efficiently use bromide ions and the like, and improve the safety of the system. SOLUTION: Electrolytic hypochlorite water is injected into an electrolytic hypochlorite water injection part 111. Cooling water containing sodium bromate is supplied into the electrolytic hypochlorite water injection part 111 from a cooling tower 123 through a cooling water circulation pipe 115. In a reaction tank 117, sodium hypobromite is produced by a reaction of sodium bromate and the electrolytic hypochlorite water. In the cooling tower 123, circulating water is sterilized and disinfected. By the sterilization and disinfection of the circulating water, bromide ions are reproduced in the cooling water. This cooling water is circulated into the electrolytic hypochlorite water injection part 111, thereby the bromide ions are recycled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
