Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize cluster structure having a large number of nodes without sharply increasing communication between nodes, and to flexibly change the number of nodes. SOLUTION: On a plurality of computers which are at least part of server computers 10-1 to 10-4 constituting a cluster system, for example, computers 10-2 and 10-3, work servers 12-1 and 12-2 which perform service control for providing a service requested from a client terminal 23 operate independently. Also, on a plurality of computers which are at least part of server computers 10-1 to 10-4, for example, all the computers 10-1 to 10-4, core servers 11-1 to 11-4 operate. The core servers 11-1 to 11-4 synchronously control the work servers while communicating with each other. Thus, it is possible to execute consistent cluster control as a single kernel 110 as a whole.
