Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable wiring housing structure capable of efficiently realizing the wiring work which is actually necessary at the time of extension of equipment by saving the futility of preparing more than necessary optical fiber cables by taking the future extended configuration into consideration at the time of introduction and installation of a communication device, and to provide an optical fiber cable housing case, an optical fiber cable housing method, and an optical connector splicing method. SOLUTION: The structure is so constituted that dummy units can be mounted in empty slots of shelves. Also, the optical fiber cables are previously wired according to the future need for the respective dummy units and are held and fixed into the optical connector housing case in a state in which the their front ends are protected.
