Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an adhesion of crud on the surface of reactor components, suppress characteristic change of components and lower radiation dose of workers during regular inspection. SOLUTION: A jet pump for a boiling water reactor which is arranged in a reactor pressure vessel and recirculating coolant has a nozzle 24 for discharging driving water driven with a recirculation pump arranged outside the reactor pressure vessel, a throat 25 receiving driving water together with driven water in the reactor pressure vessel, a diffuser 26 forming an expanding path where the path of coolant having passed the throat enlarges. At least a part of inner surfaces of the nozzle 24, the throat 25 and the diffuser 26 is coated with a hydrophilic coating. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
