Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which an optimum quantity of ink can be set for the whole color space while picture quality is taken into consideration. SOLUTION: An ink generation part 2 generates K from L*a*b* by using an ink generation parameter and a color conversion part 4 converts the L*a*b*K into CMY. Calculation parts 5 and 6 calculate evaluated values of granularity and a color area and a calculation part 7 totally evaluate the evaluated values to determine the ink generation parameter so that the total evaluated value becomes maximum.
