Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dirt on a reflection face or a transparent face inside a circumference monitoring device for a work vehicle for avoiding deterioration in detection accuracy due to the dirt on the reflection face or the transparent face. SOLUTION: This circumference monitoring device 3 for a work vehicle sets a monitoring area on the periphery of the work vehicle 2 and detects presence of a worker 4 in the monitoring area. The circumference monitoring device 3, which is constructed to project a laser beam from the work vehicle 2 to the monitoring area, to receive the laser beam reflected by the worker 4 (a returning reflector 5), and to detect the worker 4 from the received beam level, is provided with air nozzles 42, 46 and 50 blowing air toward the laser beam reflection face and the laser beam transparent face inside the device.
