Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem wherein nonuniformity is generated in characteristics, by enlarging a circuit when a pair of serial resonant circuits are arranged, in order to provide high efficiency in a push-pull power amplifier. SOLUTION: Distribution constant lines 105a, 105b have a line length, wherein the wavelength is one-half that of the fundamental wave, in order to make the phase of the fundamental wave component invert in a first signal which is amplified by a first amplifying element 102a. One end of the serial resonant circuit 106 is connected in parallel with a part between the distribution constant lines 105a, 105b where the phases of second-order harmonic components are inverted. The other end is connected to the output side of the second amplifying element 102b. The serial resonant circuit 106 cancels the second-order harmonic components by resonating with the frequency of the second-order harmonic components. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
