Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-hierarchical polling synchronization method and system capable of synchronizing the polling cycle of the higher hierarchy with the polling cycle of the lower hierarchy to synchronize multi-hierarchical polling cycles. SOLUTION: The system, in which a plurality of higher devices 10 are connected to a lower device 20 to detect and/or process updates of data through cyclic polling, is provided with polling process parts 11, 21 provided respectively in each of the higher devices 10 and the lower device 20 for polling, and a queue 22 for holding information acquisition requests coming from the higher devices 10. Each of the higher devices 10 inserts the information acquisition requests in a queue 22.
