Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor with which a high quality image can be obtained when applied as a photoconductor roll or an intermediate transfer roll to an image forming apparatus, while restricting enlarging of the size of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The rotor is provided with a body having a cylindrical surface for rotation with the rotation of a core body 300 which has a groove 302 in the surface in the direction of circling the surface and a gear 500 to which the core body 300 is adhered with an adhesive so that its end is covered. Even when the core body is adhered to the gear 500 having a circular inner face, sufficient adhesive force is held by fixing the adhesive to the groove 302 provided on the side of the core body 300 to suppress backlash between the gear 500 and the body. The groove 302 has a smaller degree of machining than that of knurling machining and so no need exists for considering the backlash or the like. Thus, the groove 302 can be arranged on the lower side of the teeth of the gear 500 to restrict enlarging the size of the apparatus. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
