Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer capable of starting time monitoring when a request is generated to an active control program to rewrite the control program, and completing the requested rewriting by forcing the active control program to halt-on-error, when the time is out. SOLUTION: In controlling a control object such as a plant with a plurality of processors(computers) having different control programs, processor overhead is increased, and processor throughput is degraded, if notification is performed to one processor without a control program for processing the notification from the control object. An interface for notifying each associated processor of an interruption from the plant, and an error in detecting the interruption, is provided to obtain a computer system preventing the rest of the processors from degrading their throughput.
