Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aliphatic polyester composition having sufficiently high impact resistance and exhibiting sufficiently suppressed thermal deterioration at the time of a heat treatment enough to assure excellent durability, and a molded item obtained by melt molding the same. SOLUTION: The aliphatic polyester composition comprises an aliphatic polyester, an unmodified natural rubber and an acrylic-modified natural rubber, where the total content of the unmodified natural rubber and the acrylic-modified natural rubber in the composition is 1-40 wt% and the content of the acrylic-modified natural rubber in the total amount of the unmodified natural rubber and the acrylic-modified natural rubber is 0.5-70 wt%.
